HUNTS ASSOCIATION MEETING Eegistration of Hunts and Applications for Meetings Considered Grant Amateur Eider Licenses. NEW YORK, N. Y., Jan. 25. The annual meeting of the Hunts Committee of the National Steeplechase and Hunts Association, was held Thursday afternoon and applications for re-registration of Hunts throughout the United States and for dates for a number of meetings were granted. Those present were Richard Whitney, F. S. Von Stade, John Strawbridge and A. S. Craven. Whitney was elected chairman for 1932, with Craven vice-chairman and Frank J. Bryan, secretary. The secretary reported the election and appointments to the Hunts committee, made by the Master of Fox .lounds in their respective districts as follows: New England, Henry G. Vaughan; New York, F. S. Von Stade; New Jersey, A. 3. Craven; Pennsylvania, John Strawbridge; Middle West, Austin H. Niblack; National Steeplechase and Hunts Association, Henry W. Bull, Joseph E. Davis and A. Henry Higginson. Of the members, the following were appointed to the executive committee: Messrs. Bull, Strawbridge, Von Stade and the chairman ex-officio. Certificates as amateur riders were granted to Charles R. White, of Garrison, Md.; Allison L. S. Stern, of New York, and Herman Flodstrom, of Lake Forest, 111., while application of John W Jackson, Elkins Park, Pa., was tabled for further consideration. Certificates, subject to confirmation by the board of stewards of the N. S. and H. A. were granted to William DuPont, Jr., Wilmington, Del.; William Almy, Jr., Warrenton, Va.; Anderson Fowler, Pea-pack, N. J.; John M. Schiff, New York; David Dallas, Odell, Philadelphia and J. T. Bkinner of Middleburg, Va. Other routine business was transacted.
