FIRE AT JEFFEBSON PARK NEW ORLEANS, La., Feb. 15. Fire of undetermined origin completely destroyed the warehouse and offices of Courtin and Company, grain and hay dealers, and damaged an unoccupied stable at the Jefferson Park track here Saturday night. A quantity of grain, hay and straw was lost in the flames. Loss to the structure and its con tents was estimated at ,500, partially covered by insurance, and damage of about 00 to the Jefferson track property, was fully covered. While the blaze endangered a number of stables, only one within close proximity of the warehouse hafbored a few thoroughbreds which were led to safety, before the fire gained menacing proportions. About four hundred horses are quartered in barns at the opposite or southern end oa the west side of the grounds.
