FAIR GROUNDS CHARITY DAY NEW ORLEANS, La., Feb. 15. Sunday, March 6, has been selected as the day for the second annual welfare day at the Fair Grounds, according to announcement today by Col. John P. Sullivan, directing head of the Louisiana Jockey Club. A program of races will be run under the auspices of the New Orleans Welfare Committee, and aside from purse offerings, which horsemen must accept, the benefit will be staged without any financial cost whatsoever to the Welfare Committee. Money realized will be used to relieve the more needy unemployed of this city.
