FLASH O WHITE, away forwardly but pinched back in the first eighth, gradually improved her position on the extreme outside thereafter and, wearing down the leaders in the stretch, was going away at the end SUN TEATIME, showing good speed, forced a fast pace and raced CRAIGCO into defeat, but was unable to withstand the winner. MORDEN saved much ground entering the stretch and closed gamely. MISS AVON-DALE behaved badly at the post, but began fast from outside the machine, onlv to tire in the final eighth. CRAIGCO tired in the stretch. ST. CARL was not persevered with. RUBRIDGE stumbled on the heels of his opponents leaving the back stretch and fell. Scratched 68576 Foreign Play, 101. WAR SAINT rushed to the front, forced a fast pace and shook off TUSKEGEE after the first quarter mile, then made a game effort when challenged, but was no match for the winner. HAYTIME slipped through on the inside all the way and outlasted KNOWLTON in thetretch run. KNOWLTON broke very slowly, then gradually improved his position on the -extreme outside and would have been third in a few more strides. TUSKEGEE quit to a walk after going a half mile. PLEASE, much the best, took command at once and, rated in front, was never seriously menaced BOUNDING DEEP, fractious at the post, broke well, but bore out around the first turn, moved into con-i tention with a rush after leaving the back stretch, but then faltered and just managed to outlast DUNROCK in the final drive. DUNROCK, under pressure the entire trip, finished strongly in the stretch run. VACA TION, prominent in the early stages, weakened under punishment in the last quarter mile. COCK ROBIN quit badly after going about seven-eighths.
