LOYAL LOUIE, tsken into the lead and rated along under light restraint until reaching the final three-eighths, quickly increased his advantage on the stretch turn and tired badly in the final eighth, but lasted. -BATTERING RAM began slowly and, despite hard riding, loafed in the first three-eighths, showed improved speed thereafter and, working his way up, just failed to got up. LOUIS MERRYMAN, weakly ridden, showed speed from the start and held on fairly well. THE WHIG tired in the stretch. TIEDEMANN was outrun iVILLAGE VAMP showed early speed. The latter began slowly, lost ground and closed fastest of all. SYM JACK began rapidly, had speed and weakened in the final stages.
