SCOTCH GOLD INJURED MIAMI, Fla., Feb. 15. The Howe Stables Scotch Gold will not start in the Florida Derby due to the fact that he struck and bruised one of his legs either while cantering or playing in his stall last Friday. The injury has responded to treatment and is now practically normal, but as he has missed two works and would have to be rushed in his preparation for this race, his trainer, after a consultation with the colts owners, has decided to withdraw him. .
