Lynch for ,500. Spotless Time and Queen Bessie, owned by Brown and Bomecus, have been fired by Dr. S. E. Davis. Trainer George Miller, of the Walter H. Dupee string, has announced that the horses in his charge will be shipped to Tanforan early next month to prepare for the spring meeting at that point. Jockey Longden returned from a vacation in Canada and reported to W. M. Hartman, of the Oak Tree Stable, his contract employer. James Stewart has purchased an unnamed filly, by Easter Bells Sweetum, from the Meadowbrook Stable. That establishment also sold the two-year-old At Ease to Mrs. J. L. Brannon. King Lo, which came out of his race on Sunday in a bad way, was ordered destroyed by Dr. Boyd Jeff ers, track veterinarian. Ervast was on the track this morning and proved that he is coming up to a race by working five furlongs in 1:03. Steve ODorinell, who rode Mike Hall to victory in the Agua Caliente Handicap last season, was granted a license today and was astride Nuhat in the Senorita Stakes.
