j KENTUCKY RACING COM-I MISSIONERS REAPPOINTED t i LOUISVILLE, Ky., March 3. Governor Ruby Laffoon appointed his Kentucky state racing commission to serve for the next four years Wednesday. All rumors as to the personnel of this body proved to be wrong in all particulars but one, that of Polk Laffoon. Polk Laffoon, of Covington, Sewell S. Combs, of Lexington, Frazier Lebus, of Cynthiana, W. E. Smith and Theodore E. Mueller, of Louisville, being reappointed. It is likely that there will be no change in the chairman and vice-chairmanships. Polk Laffoon being the chairman and W. E. Smith, vice-chairman of the body that has served for the past four years. The labor of this body during the time they have served has been fair and impartial to all parties concerned in the sport and the governor, recognizing their merit, rewarded them by reappointing them to office. Confirmation of the appointments is expected by the senate without discussion or debate and indorsement of the appointments is expected either immediately or before the end of the week.
