SIS McKEEVER BREAKS NECK AGUA CALIENTE, Mexico, March 3. An accident which caused the death of a horse and a near disqualification, came about with the running of the first race, in which twelve two-year-olds were engaged. On the first turn Skippa, which was racing greenly, swerved to the rail, causing Sis McKeever to fall and break her neck, "while jockey Schaefer, on Sorcery, which finished fourth, lodged a claim of foul after being shut off sharply by Royal Chef in the last twenty yards. The claim was disallowed. Pana Franka, one of the favorites, was the winner.
