RESUME TRAINING IN EAST Schuttinger and Fitzsimmons -Put Horses Through Exercises on New York Tracks. NEW YORK, N. T.-, March 18. Much activity was noted among the horsemen at Belmont Park and Aqueduct Thursday morning. A fine drizzle of rain came down heavily shortly after working hours were over. At the Nassau County plant almost every horse stabled there was on the training track after an enforced vacation of three days because of the severe cold. Many of the trainers sent their charges half a mile in the average time of about :53, breezing, or five furlongs in 1:07, breezing. Andy Schuttinger sent Bonnie Prince and Dark Seeker half a mile in :52, handily, while Whisking, one of Norman Tall-mans charges, stepped half a mile in :52 and eased up five furlongs in 1:06. James Fitzsimmons had his big band under saddle at Aqueduct. The juveniles Ruley Lee, Devaiera, Cattyto, Dominus, Terminus, St. Omar and Utopia breezed three furlongs in :39. Ormesby, Tetra Khan, Pardee, Dark Secret and Ever, older horses in the veterans care, stepped five furlongs in 1:06, breezing. : Other trials at the Aqueduct course included those of Shasta Grafton and Margie W., which breezed three furlongs in :39. Owner-trainer William Weyh supervised these workouts. "Jack" Mulrennan sent Union Jack out to work a mile at a two-minute clip, while William Murray had Salama, Pecan and Hisko breeze three furlongs in :49. Miss Anna Rustics Saucy Victor breezed .three furlongs in :39, while Flying Meteor and Rustic Spirit, which Ernest Vogt trains for the same stable, went at a slower pace. Steve Lawlor breezed Aeraway and Foot-sure a slow quarter-mile through the stretch in :25. Training at Jamaica was confined to routine gallops. None of the horses was asked -for much speed but virtually all of them received valuable conditioners.
