It was headed by I Say, which narrowly failed to outstay Suntica in the Kentucky Oaks and unquestionably is one of best of her age and sex in the West. Say is eligible for the Illinois Oaks, Ameri* can Derby, Classic, Matron Handicap, Arlington Oaks and other fixtures at the Chicago tracks. Trainer Jake Lowenstein had engaged C. E. Allen to ride her in all engagements. Before leaving Churchill Downs, Lowenstein turned Manners over to Art Goldblatt, who will race the three-year-old at Bain-bridge Park. ♦
