HORSEMENS ASSN. MEETS HOMEWOOD, 111., June 10.— A meeting of the Horsemens Benevolent Association was held at Chicago Heights Thursday evening and about fifty members of the organization attended. Joseph Ryan was elected secretary-treasurer to succeed P. J. Horgan, who resigned due to other business reasons. It was voted to defray the funeral expenses of Harry Wallhauser, a member who recently passed away in California. A check will be forwarded to his brother, F. Wallhauser, who had charge of the funeral arrangements.
