LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS J. Gilbert rallied last week, riding four winners to two by "Hank" Mills, and they went into a tie for leadership. Each had 140 winners to his credit at the end of the week, with Silvio Coucci, who has made the greatest gain of any jockey in the last few weeks, a good third, with 137 winners. M. Lewis and D. Meade had a great week, with eight winners each, and moved up a peg or two in the standing, Meade holding a one-victory margin over Lewis. R. Workman rode five winners and L. Humphries and R. G.
