James Butler, squire of East View, celebrates his fiftieth anniversary in business Friday. At the annual meeting of the New York Turf Writers Association held last night, Frank J. Ortell was elected president, Henry V. King vice-president and Al Copeland was re-elected secretary-treasurer. It was decided that the annual dinner will be held the third Wednesday in August, next season.
