DAILY DOUBLE AT DADE PARK HENDERSON, Ky., Aug. 31. The Kentucky State Racing Commission today granted the Dade Park Jockey Club permission to install the daily double system of wagering and in the event the necessary arrangements can be completed, this form of wagering will be in use here starting Saturday, September 3. It will be the first time that the daily double has been used in Kentucky but, due to the popular demand for this form of wagering, James C. Ellis, president and general manager of the Dade Park Jockey Club, decided to give it a trial during the final seven days of the meeting. Inasmuch as the daily double will be used at the Lincoln Fields track of the American Turf Association, this method of wagering probably will be tried during the fall meeting of the Latonia Jockey Club. The second and third races will be used for the daily double at Dade Park.
