I HAWTHORNE TURF NOTES Larry Boganschutz, placing judge and entry clerk at Lincoln Fields, visited at Hawthorne this afternoon. The horses of A. Bartelstein, Mrs. Emil Denemark, O. L. Foster and L. M. Holmes will fill engagements at Exposition Park. Several stables will race at both Lincoln Fields and Exposition Park. These will retain present quarters at Hawthorne and van starters to Lincoln Fields and Aurora from the Stickney track. Fred Crafton of the Exposition Park Jockey Club, was at Hawthorne alloting stable room Wednesday. The further entry of Curmudgeon at Hawthorne was ordered refused on the grounds that the horse is not in satisfactory condition. Ray Pollard has arranged to race the large string of horses in his care at Lincoln Fields. Apprentice M. Clancy, who had a close escape from injury in a fall from The Point at Hawthorne Tuesday, will do the riding for this stable. The jockeys quarters at Exposition Park will be supervised by Webb Everett, who serves in a like capacity at Hawthorne and Tanforan. His marriage several weeks to Miss Letha Mae Moore of Covington, Ky., was announced by Herb Fisher, one of the leading older riders at Hawthorne.
