TRACK EMPLOYE INJURED SARATOGA SPRINGS, N. Y., Aug. 31. i Patrick Murphy, an employe of the track, was seriously injured when he was struck by the riderless Sandy Bill before the running of the first race. Sandy Bill unseated his rider and ran away at a fast clip. Murphy spread wide his arms in an attempt to stop the horse, but failed to jump clear when he bore down on him. He was removed to the Saratoga Hospital.
