MR. SPONGE TO CARRY 140 NEW YORK, N. Y., Aug. 31 Mr. Sponge is asked to shoulder 140 pounds in the Fall Highweight Handicap, to be run at Belmont Park September 5. The race is worth 2,500 added and the distance is three-quarters of a mile, over the Widener course.
