SPORTSMANS PARK PRO- j i GRAM FOR FALL MEET t.. . . . - . .4 CICERO, 111., Sept. 27. For its fall meeting opening at Sportsmans Park Monday, October 10, the National Jockey Club will offer no purse less than 00, according to the purse schedule for the first six days of the nineteen day season, as contained in the initial condition book, copies of which were released to horsemen today. Seven races will be run daily, with three of 00 each, a like number with 00 attached and the daily feature vill carry 00. Edward J. OHare, president and general manager, announces that officials will be the samo as for the spring meeting, with J. J. Graddy and Fred Digby assisting Mr. OHare in the stewards stand. Sidney Bender, P. C. Galliger and Robert S. Shelley, placing judges; Robert S. Shelley, racing secretary, and Thomas J. Brown, starter. Shelley has arranged a number of races for the better class horses and with a break in weather and track conditions hopes to prepare attractive programs daily. On Saturday, October 15, the first Saturday of the meeting, the Chicago Handicap, for three-year-olds and upward, at seven furlongs, will feature the program. Since the inaugural meeting the plant and track have been improved and two chutes recently completed, are expected to reduce to a minimum crowding in the contests over the half-mile course. 1
