ZIEGLER SELLS SPINACH LAUREL, Md., Oct. 6. Trainer Clyde Phillips, acting for William Ziegler, Jr., has sold Spinach, five-year-old chestnut son of Sir Martin and Sweet Time, at private terms to Arthur White of Virginia. While racing for his former owner Spinach won more than 00,000 in purses. His best season was in 1930 when he won the Riggs and Havre de Grace Cup Handicaps.
