NEW SUN showed little. RISNEUR began very slowly. ARGONAUTE II. raced restrained for a mile and. taking an easy lead going to the twelfth fence, drew away easily thereafter. QUICK MARCH raced FORAY into early defeat and fell back going to the eighth fence; was hard urged and proved best of the others. LIGHT PLUME, badly outpaced for a turn of the field, moved up gamely going to the eleventh jump and finished gamely. MIRTON dropped far back early. ME-LITA was outrun. FORAY tired badly. AFLOAT quit. EGAD lost his rider at the last fence. BOUNDLESS DEEP showed good speed, but lost his rider at the tenth fence. SID was pulled up at the ninth jump.
