I JAMAICA TURF NOTES s s Andy Schuttinger returned from Laurel, where he saddled Pilate for his race. M. J. "Irish" Burns arrived from Havre de Grace with two horses and is stabled at Jamaica. Fred Hopkins came up from Laurel to saddle Disdainful, returning to that point after the running. "Farobank Jack" Carroll died at the Jewish Hospital yesterday morning. Funeral services will be held from his Ocean Avenue home Saturday. Roy Waldron is due at Empire City today from Canada with twelve horses. Mat Colford arrived at Empire City with eight horses, from Canada. It developed that F. Winters purchased Xandra from Marshall Field for William Jenkins, Jr.
