BOBS LUCK saved much ground and, closing resolutely, outstayed SURELY. The latter lost ground, was slow to rally to urging after straightening up in the stretch, but came with a rush near the end. LORD DEAN, was under strong urging throughout. MINOT quit. LEDFORD had speed for five-eighths, then quit badly. GRIMACE, suited by the going, had speed from the start, was on the inside after reaching the final half mile, could not withstand PRINCE WESTEND, but held on gamely, getting up in the closing stages. IRINCE WESTEND, close up from the start, raced into a short lead at the stretch turn, but weakened slightly in the closing eighth. BOURBON PRINCE, given a hustling ride, held on well and, coming to the outside near the end, was going strongest of all at the end. POPO saved much ground, dropped out of it slightly approaching the stretch, but went evenly under pressure in the final quarter. SYM JACK had early speed. EVA JANE began slowlv and was always far back. UNCLE DONALD began well, but was unable to keep up, began improving his position after reaching the final five-sixteenths, where he raced wide and, withstanding strong pressure, got up in the final strides. HELEN BAB, under strong restraint for a half mile, sprinted into decisive command after reaching the stretch and held on well to the end, just failing to last. AMERICAN PRINCE went evenly and held on gamely. MONKS STAR had fine speed in the going, but quit badly. FIGURISTE began fast and had speed, was in close quarters briefly at the stretch turn and weakened when clear. GOLDEN DEEDS did not threaten GLAMOROUS quit. OSWEGO PRINCESS was forced back at the stretch turn and never recovered. The latter, under steady restraint the first half mile, weakened after five-eighths. MOROI had earlv speed and was taken up sharply after three-eighths. The latter had keen speed in the going from the start, was. much used racing BILL LOONEY into submission, but held on itubbornly and only gave way in the final strides. BLACK TORCH was under strong riding the final half mile and saved ground in the stretch. STARBOARD LIGHT began very slowly, threatened mildly when racing wide at the stretch turn and weakened slightly in the drive. ENGLEWOOD could not get up. The latter, rated off the pace, lost ground entering the stretch and closed resolutely. CHUM raced well. UNION W. faltered in the final eighth. SAND FIDDLER dropped out of it at the lower turn. LOW GEAR began slowly and was outrun.
