1 LEXINGTON TURF NOTES s T. P. Hayes, trainer for the Warm Stable, sent Sabula, a two-year-old by Macaw, to Jack McPherson at Laurel Park, to be prepared for the Pimlico Futurity, to be run November 5. Eugene Lutz shipped the four-year-old Mayes Lutz, by Polymelian Prairie Bird, by Harmonicon, to Old Hickory Farm. She is to be bred next spring. J. P. "Sammy" Smith sent Crack Flyer and Aston to Old Hickory Farm here to be rested awhile. Along with Mr. Smiths Appellant, which was already here, they will be shipped later to Aiken, S. C, to join others in the string the eastern trainer will winter there.
