Warm Stable has never made an offer for Head Play, but T. P. Hayes bought the horse for Mrs. Silas B. Mason personally, subject to veterinary inspection. The following day, before inspection, Mr. Crump wired cancelling the sale. "WARM STABLE, SILAS B. MASON."
