INVESTIGATE PLUTARCHS RACE BALTIMORE, Md., May 3.— The stewards are conducting an investigation of the last race Tuesday. It is rather an investigation of Mrs. W. E. Jones Plutarch, whose form reversal was so disgraceful in the running. On all his recent performances Plutarch had to be considered as a keen contender in the company he was meeting. In the running he was utterly devoid of speed and, never reaching a contending position, was badly beaten. He was ridden by J. Kacala, but there did not appear to be any reason for blaming the ride.
