One of the features is the six and a half furlongs Illinois Owners Claiming Handicap, to be contested Thursday, May 11. Only bona fide owners living in Illinois will be eligible to enter their horses for the 00 urse. A. E. Silver returned from South America, where he shipped ten horses for racing. He was granted a license by the stewards Thursday. Jockeys H. Adams and W. Cook were granted riders licenses and A. Harned and S. J. Kelly were approved as trainers. Jockey R. Clemons was suspended for the remainder of the meeting for crossing over sharply at the start of the second race Saturday on Silevr Wave.
