OREGON MEETING OPENS JUNE 7 PORTLAND, Ore., May 6.— The first legalized race meeting in the Pacific northwest in the last thirty-five years will get under way at the Gresham track, a few miles from Portland June 7 and continue for forty days. Jack Jerome, San Francisco sportsman, obtained a license to conduct the meeting.
