FAIRMOUNT FALL MEETING ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, 111., July 29. As a result of relief provided by the paw Illinois racing statutes, under which the daily license tax was reduced from ,500 to ,000, the Fairmount Park Jockey Club will hold a fall meeting at its Fairmount Park course, near Collinsville, 111. Dates for the meeting, as announced here this afternoon by Robert S. Eddy, Jr., general manager of the track, will be September 2 to October 7, a period of thirty-one days. Mr. Eddy leaves next week for Collinsville, whence announcements covering purses, features and other important details of the meeting will be made.
