FEDERAL AGENTS MAKE I ARRESTS AT ARLINGTON I i.----. ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, 111., July 29. Federal agents, who swooped down on several stables at Arlington Park late yesterday, made a number of arrests a- d confiscated the contents of medicine cabinets carried by the stables visited. According to officers in charge of the raids a quantity of heroin was seized. Among those arrested and taken to the Federal Building, Chicago, were Ivan Parke, the former jockey, Dr. Nelson, a veterinarian -and half a dozen stable attaches. Arlington Park officials had no knowledge of the arrests other than that conveyed to them by several employers of men who were taken by the agents. It was reported at Arlington Park this afternoon that several of the men arrested had been released. In speaking of tha arrests made by federal agents, Mr. Hertz said: "We at Arlington Park are in sympathy with every law enforcing agency. However, we knew of nothing like that going on and if there is we want it cleaned up."
