GOLDEN SUN tired in the stretch. PREFER did not threaten. LA SALLE began fast, was forced back on the turn and failed to rally when hard urged in the stretch. BEDIGHT showed speed from the start, saved ground most of the way and could not withstand the winner, but held on well. COLD CHECK, starting slowly and raced wide throughout, closed strongly. DURGA showed speed, but tired badly after reaching the .stretch. GREY SASH raced wide. SECLUDED quit. GO YONDER, HAMMEL and PHALAROPE met interference. HADAGAL, away fast, moved up on the turn, lost much ground entering the stretch and held on gamely. SINGING WOOD, away slowly, held on well. MATA HARI. fractious at the post, was hustled to the front with a big saving of ground and tired badly after half a mile. The latter challenged gamely under light pressure in the stretch, but could not reach the winner. ROWDY BOY saved ground after three eighths and held on fairly well. BLAMELESS lost ground most of the way. PING COATES did not threaten. ROLLING SEA dropped far out of it and failed to respond when hard urged.
