Wingfield will campaign King Today, Prestige and Prince Benton for the Audley Farm Stable here, and expects to receive several additions from the main division of the stable that Joe F. Patterson has at Hawthorne. One of the most important stables to arrive here from Chicago was that of C. C. Van Meter, in charge of B. B. Williams. It comprised eight head and included Mr. Joe, Red Whisk, Cotton Club, Long Bit, Mr. James and Steppin High. Williams has Deal Again for A. K. Stone and Filzy for Mrs. A. A. Baroni. R. A. Kindred took over to train for the estate of J. S. Wallace, the three-year-old Buddy Apolis. He is training for H. G. Shoemaker, Twill, Storm Angel, Twilight Girl and Open Hearth and for W. J. and J. M. Foley the two-year-old Counsellor Crane. W. G. Charles received Resisting, Phara-head and By Phar from Chicago which he will train for J. T. Taylor. Jockey Karl Horvath left for Hawthorne to report to Clyde Van Dusen. W. J. Hirsch has Warren Jr., and the two-year-olds Kentucky Helen, Lightin Bill and Boy Bunting, which he will campaign at the Coney Island meeting for Warren Wrights Calumet Farm Stable. Hirsch has Chinese Empress, Legionary and Balancer for his father, Max Hirsch. B. F. Scheffel shipped Parfait, Bosom Pal, Spartan Lad and the Bigamist to Clyde Van Dusen at Hawthorne. They accompanied the Latonia Oaks winner, Esseff, to the Chicago track. Scheffel has nine of the Dix-iana and Van Dusen horses at Coney Island. L. W. Johnson unloaded French Lass, Rip Van Winkle, Big Leaguer, Whileaway, Easy, Fashion Show, Flowery, Jean Brown, Lansquenet, Dancing Boy, Miss Curtis, Dorothy Dell and Seymour, which he brought from Empire City. Jockey Lee Hardy accompanied the stable from the East, J. S. Middleton vanned the fourteen horses he has for Mrs. Payne Whitneys Greentree Stable from Latonia. He will have the services of apprentice G. Miller until the opening of the Dade Park meeting. William Hinphy reports that Tadcaster which received a bad cut in his last race, has about recovered from the injury. W. L. Johnson arrived frcm Beulah Park with Nardo, Buzzy Boo, Alice Amine and West Point. J. Pelleteri brought High Wire from the same point. Dr. R. L. Woodward came from Arlington Park with Brown Toney and turned him over to Lon Johnson to train. Among the riders registered with Gordon Morrow, custodian of the jockeys quarters are jockeys K. Hoffman, R. Ross, T. P. Martin, H. Louman,. E. Watters, L. Ensor, C. Watters, R. Leischman, H. Garner, L. Robinson, E. Legere, W. Curran, J. Dillea, W. Bog-anowski, R. Montgomery, R. Martin, G. South, G. Arnold, R. Finnerty, R. Tilden, M. Knight, T. Reno, J. Guerra, L. Pichon, O. Laidley, L. McDermott, L. Hardy, P. Groos, C. E. Allen, D. Dickson, L. Geving, D. Fowler, W. Lilley, J. Kederis, D. Dubois, W. Barr, S. Trenchard, H. Knessi, L. Craver, H. L. Fischer; apprentices, R. Brooks, J. Mayer, G. Miller, D. Broic, G. Ennis, S. Young, and T. Marshall. E. E. Watson vanned six of the J. B. Res- pess horses from Latonia. 1 F. J. Bruen and Vincent Treanor, two of the stewards of the Coney Island meeting, arrived from New York Sunday. Thomas L J. Collins and James Shevlin, members 1 of the Ohio Racing Commission, who were present at the Coney Island opening Mon-1 day afternoon, anounced the appointment of 1 Sidney S. Bender of Manchester, Ohio; C. Pfeiffer of Dayton, Ohio, and M. J. Allen 1 of Cincinnati, a member of the Ohio ture, as mutuel inspectors on the Ohio 1 tracks. Thorp will not be here until the close of the Empire City meeting. Benny Holmes, who served as assistant to Jack B. Campbell at the Fair Grounds track in New Orleans, last winter, is an arrival from Chicago. Jockey C. E. Allen, who went to Arlington Park to ride Hadagal in the Arlington Fu- I turity, returned from that point Monday I morning. I Racing secretary Jack Campbell nounced the jockeys fees for the meeting as i 5 for a winning mount and 0 for all I others. I Dr. F. W. Ashe, who will serve as veteri-I narian during this meeting, arrived from i New York. I According to word received from Latonia, I the stables of C. W. Moore and Mrs. K.
