MY BOSS, slow to get going and far back for three-eighths, improved his position fast when coming through on the inside in the stretch and, going around the leaders, was ready to draw out. DOGMATA, a strong factor from the start, had to lost ground, but held on gamely. SCOTCH PEPPER showed speed and, working his way clear on the turn, tired badly. BROADSTEP held on well. CABOUSE, restrained for three-eighths, responded mildly in the stretch before tiring. DIVERT began slowly and raced wide almost all the way. HER HERO quit. JESTING QUEEN raced green. The latter, probably best and forced to race wide throughout, responded to hand riding in the stretch and was wearing down the winner. KARL EITEL dropped out of it slightly on the turn and finished well. MERRILY ON tired after five-eighths. COMMUTER had no mishaps. SPRINGSTEEL, away slowly, appeared to suffer light interference from HYMAN in the early stages and failed to rally when clear. HYMAN bore over badly in the early stages.
