PIMLICO TURF NOTES T J Donohue will ship a division of his stable to Hagerstown after the present meeting and will later ship to Charles Town for the thirtyfive day meeting at that point pointJockey Jockey J Burke received an offer from Edward F Sinims to ride the promising threeyearold Quasimodo in the running of the Kentucky Derby Saturday SaturdayAndrew Andrew J Cummings Matt J Winn and Frank J Brady were again elected as offi ¬ cers for the Maryland State Fair Inc operators of Laurel Park at a meeting held at that course on Tuesday Cummings will serve as president a post that he has held in the past Matt J Winn will serve as vice president and Mr Brady as general man ¬ ager James Butler Jr who owns the con ¬ trolling stock sat in at the meeting and stated that he would carry on in the same manner as heretofore heretoforeFrank Frank J Bryan who will act as racing secretary at Brookline Mass will introduce an innovation in a race that has been fash ¬ ioned by him and which will be run at the forthcoming meeting The race will be known as the Roll Your Own and those making nominations will conform by allot ing weight to their entry When all entries are received secretary Bryan will then strike an average which will be the final assignment assignmentArdor Ardor a scheduled starter in the seventh was ordered withdrawn from the race It de ¬ veloped that the Basehore youngster could not be loaded at his quarters at Timonium to be transferred to Pimlico Secretary F J Bryan was well pleased with the manner in which the Pimlico homebred event to be run at Pimlico on Thursday filled Horses for this juvenile race must be the property of their breeders since the time of foaling to be eligible
