OHIO RACING COMMISSION I I Approves Joseph Cattarinich as l Managing Director in Complete Charge at Bainbridge. CLEVELAND, Ohio, July 6.— Coincident ; with the announcement that the Bainbridge i Breeders and Racing Association race meeting, scheduled to open July 14 and continue i for thirteen racing days, to July 28, would be run as originally intended, the Ohio State Racing Commission, through its secretary, George Gates, issued the following statement: "The Ohio State Racing Commission has approved Joseph Cattarinich, managing director of the Bainbridge Breeders and Racing Association and owner of the Bainbridge race track, as managing director of said meeting, with complete jurisdiction over the entire plant and all divisions thereof, during said race meeting, to be held from July 14 to July 28, inclusive; and we are informed he will be there in person to oversee the entire meeting. Any previous misunderstanding has been cleared to the satisfaction of all concerned." There will be over 600 horses at Bainbridge by next Monday, most of them ready to race, and the meeting promises to be as ! much of a success as local conditions permit.
