He is sending seven horses to Louisville, Likewise, Sora, King Cicero, Sallie Gray. Left J Wing. Bellfounder and Felawake. Henry Forrest has purchased from A. Die- ! trich the horses Bangobar, Tough Umbria, Potterton and La Palina and the horse I Prevail, which Dietrich owned in partnership with W. Palmisano. Forrest plans to race them at Dade Park. Apprentice D. Taylor cancelled his mounts Friday, fearing infection of an eye injury : he suffered here several days ago. It is probable that he also will decline mounts for Saturday. F. P. Letellier plans to send two horses, Southland Lad and Left Over, to Detroit at the close of this meeting. Others in his stable, Marie Jean, Bourbon Prince. Poet Prince, Royal Sport, Highland Downs, Southland Poet, Southland Duke and Upon will be shipped to Louisville to rest until September. Apprentice Paul Clelland will ride for Thomas Piatt at Chicago until the opening of Dade Park, when he will report to his contract employer, J. C. Ellis. C. Forsyth will make his engagements. The Kentucky State Racing Commission will hold a meeting in the offices of Polk Laffoon at Latonia Saturday. Among the more important matters to come before the commission is the appeal of F. Gering, Jr., who was indefinitely suspended by the La-lonia stewards as the result of a saliva test on the horse Perkins. Apprentice G. Hardy was fined 5 by the stewards for piling up the field shortly after the start of the third race Friday. H. C. Ragan, owner, wos fined 0 by the stewards for delay in reaching the paddock 1 Thursday with Migosh.
