DICKEY BOY went to the front at once, ran head and head with RADIO BEAM until midway of the stretch, then weakened in the final sixteenth. RADIO BEAM got to the front momentarily in the stretch, but tired in the final drive. WEE SANTA came from far back, saved ground roundine the stretch turn, and was going very fast at the end. THRILLING, always close up throughout, closed fast in the stretch and was going gamely at the finish. MOTOR BRIDE, closest to the winner until midway of the stretch, weakened slightly in the final drive. ONLY GEORGE was forced to take up for lack of racing room entering the far turn, came again m the stretch, but could not get up. GEORGES HEIR could never get up. MORCHARM came from far back, ran on the outside of the field, and closed fast through the stretch... LEANO, in close quarters rounding the far turn came between horses entering the stretch, but weakened in the final sixteenth. SIR VAL closed ground in the final eighth, but could not get up.
