OFFICIALS AT BOWIE MEETING BOWIE, Md., April 1. The following officials have been approved by the Maryland racing commission to serve during the meeting of the Southern Maryland Jockey Club at Bowie, where the eastern racing season opens on April 2: Steward, Marshall Cassidy; judges, John B. Campbell, John P. Turner, E. Brennan, J. H. Anderson; patrol judges, Francis Dunne, G. E. Hall, C. L. Bowie; starter, James Milton; clerk of scales, John P. Turner; timer, William Jennings; paddock judge, P. T. Roche; racing secretary and handicapper, John B. Campbell; physician in attendance, Dr. G. E. Lancaster; veterinarian, Dr. H. J. McCarthy. The Bahr stall gate will be used.
