BMDLEYS ARLINGTON PLANS Full Strength of Stable to Combat Invasion of Easterners Final Payments Due on Nominations for forArlington Arlington Futurity and Lassie Stakes Blackbirder in Classic That Col Edward Riley Bradley may pit the combined strength of his eastern and western stables against the best members of other outstanding American racing estab ¬ lishments in the quest of the rich Arling ¬ ton Park stakes is indicated by his nomina ¬ tions to the events which have just been received by the Arlington Park Jockey Club ClubFor For the 30000 added Classic which since its inception seven years ago has played a leading role in deciding the threeyearold champion the Kentucky sportsman has named Boxthorn and Black Helen The for ¬ mer winner of the Saratoga Special last year is in the division trained by H J Thompson and Black Helen sensational filly with the Florida Derby and nine vic ¬ tories out of eleven starts to her credit is managed by William Hurley The Thompson string will soon leave Idle Hour Farm for Belmont Park after which it is expected to move to Arlington Park and Hurleys divi ¬ sion will be shipped from Pimlico to Wash ¬ ington Park thence moving to the north side course courseOther Other Bradley nominations for the Arling ¬ ton stakes include that of the speedy four yearold filly Bazaar for the Stars and Stripes Handicap the 10000 added event at one mile and a furlong featuring the Fourth of July program Bazaar was victorious in the Hopeful Stakes and other important specials as a twoyearold and last season she captured the Mount Washington Handi ¬ cap and Test Stakes and placed in the Ala ¬ bama Stakes and Saranac Handicap HandicapSix Six of the Bradley juveniles were entered in the Hyde Park Stakes the dash of five and onehalf furlongs to which the Arlington Park Jockey Club is adding 5000 Chief of these is Banister a son of Blue Larkspur and Silver Hue therefore a half brother to Bazaar and Bien Jolie a recent winner at Churchill Downs in impressive fashion The Bradley twoyearolds also are well repre ¬ sented in the Arlington Futurity and Lassie Stakes final payments for which are due May 15 15Other Other early nominations to the Arlington Stakes which do hot close until June 1 include that of Mrs Charles Hainesworths Blackbirder for the Classic This son of Bos tonian and Kenya displayed a sparkling performance in finishing fifth in the Ken ¬ tucky Derby
