JOCKEY W RAY IN LIMELIGHT His Excellent Riding Outstanding Feature of Thursdays Racing at AkSarBen Track OMAHA Neb June 13 The excellent horsemanship of jockey V Ray enlivened the sport at AkSafBen Thursday afternoon the youngster from the Pacific Coast en ¬ tering the winners circle on three occa ¬ sions twice in the colors of J McBride McBrideRay Ray guided Manteca to victory in the opening race a fivefurlong dash for two yearolds and repeated in the third contest a five and a half furlongs dash astride Thoughtful ThoughtfulRays Rays third triumph came in the fifth and best race a six furlongs sprint in which there were nine starters He hustled Pet rina B into a big early lead and the brown filly remained on the front end throughout scoring by the margin of a head over Nata ¬ lie Mae with Tee Dee Ruth third
