JERRY H The latter in close quarters early raced to the outside when clear and withstood a long drive gamely ONE KNOT forced to the inside by IMPATIENT in the first eighth saved ground thereafter but tired after racing a half mile BATMAN began slowly LIQUIDATION badly knocked knockedabout about in the first quarter and cut off on the stretch turn had no chance thereafter WHIPOWILL had to be pulled
