COLUMBUS STALLS IN DEMAND Number of Available Accommoda ¬ tions for Horses Dwindling at Beu lah Park Building New Barm COLUMBUS Ohio April 30 Miss Pre ¬ mier and Prince Fox have been named by W C Weant for the Inaugural Handicap feature of the opening day of the twenty five days spring meeting at Beulah Park Jockey Clubs new mile course on Saturday May 15 15Racing Racing secretary Emmett A Hileman re ¬ ceived the nominations at Arlington Downs where he is serving in an official capacity The Inaugural Handicap is over the distance of one mile and carries a purse of 1200 1200According According to Hileman a special train will leave the Texas course for Beulah Park early next week In the neighborhood of 125 horses will be included in the shipment shipmentNumerous Numerous requests for stalls are being re ¬ ceived from Kentucky and other points Horsemen are asked not to ship to Beulah Park until they have received confirmation that stall space is available availableA A seventystall barn is being built at the track and the stables at the Hilliards Fair Grounds have been made available to tha jockey club The track at that point will be put in condition for training and proved quite satisfactory to those quartered there last year yearArrivals Arrivals from Keeneland include M H Jordan with thirteen horses of the Darby Dan Farm and River Divide Farm C A Valentine came from the same point with nine horses eight of them twoyearolds twoyearoldsDoug Doug Hoffman checked in from winter quarters at Dayton Ohio with eight horses including the consistent mare Donna Ba rona ronaLady Lady Twinkling twoyearold filly in the stable of Dr E E Watson succumbed to shipping fever at Beulah Park She is the lone casaulty reported to date dateW W J Mulvihill reports the arrival of a bay colt by Jack Horgan from Golden This ¬ tle by Flittergold at Shannondale Farm in Hamilton County Another mare Barken tine by Bostonian is due to foal there soon
