leaders ran out tired in the final eighth WILFRID G was unable to make trouble FLYING FEATHERS set the early pace under miserable handling made bad landings at the eleventh and twelfth fences and ran out at the thirteenth BRIAR BLUE challenged FLYING FEATHERS on the final turn and appeared to have the race won when he followed the latter out at the last jump and crashed into the fence
