KENTUCKY OAKS SAtORDAY SAtORDAYMilky Milky Way Farms Mars Shield Con ¬ tinues to Eule Favorite Three Ds Farm to Start Gin Daisy and andMistralkin Mistralkin Candidates Have Final FinalWorkouts Workouts LOUISVILLE Ky May 13 That the Three Ds Stock Farm of the Waggoner Bothers will have two starters in the 5000 added Kentucky Oaks to be renewed here at Churchill Downs next Saturday was indi ¬ cated today by trainer J R Pryce The two standardbearers of the Texas stable probably will be Gin TDaisy and Mistralkin which this morning breezed slow miles through rain and mud In their last long trials for such an engagement as the mile and an eighth fixture for threeyearold fillies filliesGin Gin Daisy and Mistralkin worked in com ¬ pany this morning and were timed for the eight furlongs in 151 both hard held They ran the first quarter in 26 the half mile in 54 and threequarters in 122 122The The only other prominent Oaks candidate to be seen in a long trial during the training period was A C Ernsts Alkit and she worked the full Oaks distance of nine fur ¬ longs for which she was timed in 159 going very handily in the soupy going She went threequarters in 118 and the mile in 146 146A A B LETELLIER ENTRY ENTRYAnother Another stable likely to have an entry in Saturdays feature is that of A B Letellier who may start Shatterproof and the recently acquired Coronium The former went a handy six furlongs this morning in 119 while Coronium was to receive her final test for the stake in competition this afternoon afternoonMrs Mrs Ethel V Mars Mars Shield however continues to rule a strong favorite for the Oaks and according to trainer Robert Mc Garvey she will be the stables sole starter in the race and then only if track conditions are not too severe Mars Shield winner of the Texas Derby and considered by her con ¬ nections one of the best threeyearolds in the country had her final long trial several days ago when she went a mile in 143 just breezing Earlier it was believed likely that the Mars stable would also be repre ¬ sented in the Oaks by Talma Dee DeeA A possible dark horse in the field and one almost certain to start is the Rosedale Stables Exclaim This daughter of Masked Marvel H has trained well for the race and that she is intended to start is seen in the fact that jockey Basil James has been en ¬ gaged to ride her herAmong Among others which may be seen in the starting lineup are Mrs Frank J Navins Navarre B W Stivers I Chase Mrs Parker Comings Light Moment A P Canales Mary Vito J G Millers Golden Ariel A B Hancocks Recussion Oddesa Farms Oddesa Girl and F P Letelliers Grey Squaw
