PIMLICO TURF NOTES Jockey Eddie DeCamillas who was sus pended for the remainder of the Pimlico J meeting for rough riding on May 3 suc cessfully appealed his case before the stew jards who lifted his suspension DeCamillas jwill be permitted to accept mounts com ¬ mencing Friday j Fridayj Paul Mellon owner of Welbourne Jake j winner of the Maryland Hunt Cup came on to see the Billy Barton Steeplechase and will remain for the Preakness I Trainer J H Stotler of the A G Vander bilt stable has arranged with John Yocum of the Pennsylvania Railroad to transfer three carloads of horses from Timonium to Belmont Park on Friday Shipping arrange ¬ ments were made for Timonium for the reason that it is closer to Sagamore Farm and that more room will be available for the concentration of the horses horsesLiberty Liberty Lane Stable purchased the three yearold Bareback from the A G Vanderbilt stable for a consideration that was not di ¬ vulged In order to facilitate the handling of the crowd on Preakness Day the steeplechase will be run as the first race and the infield thrown open to the public Mutuel pavilions have been provided in the infield Jockey L Garrett who rode Engles Boy in the third race on Tuesday came in for a suspension from the stewards for rough riding It developed however that the horse broke down in the running and Garrett was absolved from blame blameMatt Matt L Daiger secretary of the Maryland Jockey Club stated that a record number of I box reservations have been received from legislators in Washington to witness the Preakness PreaknessMike Mike Heffering traffic agent for the Ca ¬ nadian National Railways arrived to handle the transferring of horses to the Canadian circuit John and Mrs Bosley Nat Ray J F Seagram and E Craigie are among those sending racing material to the Dominion DominionJockey Jockey F Faust was fined 10 by the stewards for mistreating his mount off and on while unsaddling after the third race I Wednesday
