PURSE TAKEN FROM PARITY PARITYAND AND AWARDED TO EUXINE HOMEWOOD 111 May 31 For carrying incorrect weight in the eighth race at Wash ¬ ington Park on Monday May 24 the purse which A G Tarns Parity won has been for ¬ feited and awarded to the owner of the sec ¬ ond horse R A Fishers Euxine it was an ¬ nounced today by racing secretary Charles J McLennan The protest was made by Fisher whose horse was beaten a head by Parity The protest having been allowed Euxine receives first money Western Run second Bombastic third and Wild Transit fourth As is provided for in the Illinois racing rules the betting on that race is not affected
