MEDALS FOR AIR HEROES NEW YORK N Y Oct 25 Medals for three air heroes whose quick thinking and cool action probably prevented loss of life when an airliner crashed near Montgomery Ala on October 18 were presented last night at a dinner to which two hundred avia ¬ tion leaders were invited invitedPresentation Presentation of the medals to Captain Da ¬ vid Hissong Pilot Clyde R Russell and Flight Steward Frank Gibbs all of Eastern Air Lines was made by Joseph V Connolly general manager of the Hearst Newspapers who was a passenger on the plane and who has publicly credited the three with saving his life and the lives of other passengers by their efficient bravery
