SWEEP QUICK, outrun early, made a strong move through the fairly good going in the stretch to get to the front near the finish and won under urging. HUNTERDON was badly outrun, but finished fast and seemed a trifle lame after pulling up. SWEEPOUCH was well up from the start and was going gamely at the end. INDEPENDANT WAY headed MOONEYBROOK on the stretch turn, but raced throughthe deep going in the stretch while forcing the latter to the rail and tired near the end. MOONEYBROOK lost his chance- when forced into the deepest part of the track in the last eighth. READY TEDDY and HOWDY ANDY tired after showing speed for three-quarters. PANSYS THIRD, although dropping back slightly rounding the far turn, was never far away and, wearing down OUR HAVEN in the last eighth, won narrowly in a drive. OUR HAVEN, hard held on the outside in the early part, moved up fast after leaving the back stretch to take command when straightened out for home, but faltered near the end. THE CLEAVER tired in the stretch. BOLD LAD was going well at the finish. HADNOGAL tired. WAR ALII quit badly in a dull effort. REDROCK CANYON had a rough trip, being in close quarters several times. DOLICIA BOY, well rated close to the pace in the early running, moved up steadily in the stretch to catch RIBALD near the end and outfinished him in a drive. RIBALD was well rated in the early running and, although in the deepest part of the track in the stretch, raced gamely to the finish. ENOCH BORLAND never threatened the first two, but was much the best of the others. DON GRAFTON had no excuses. DONNA BONITA tired.
