FOUR IMPLICATED IN DOPING Nassau County Authorities Involve InvolveQuartet Quartet in Tampering1 Cases at atAqueduct Aqueduct and Belmont Park NEW YORK N Y July 24 Four men now are implicated in the alleged doping of four horses at Belmont Park and Aque duct during the recent meetings at the two Long Island courses with strong chances of other thoroughbreds which were stopped and additional offenders entering into the investigation now under way in Nassau County Patrick J Panza stands accused of violating Section 190A of the penal code which makes it a felony to tamper with or injure a horse used for racing He gave his occupation as a singing waiter with a residence at a midtown hotel in this city cityHarvey Harvey Keppler an apprentice rider and Allen Maclsaac the boys who gave the in ¬ formation on which Panza is charged also are being held in protective custody In ¬ formation was received at Empire City yes ¬ terday to the effect that William Scotchy Morrison had reported to the Nassau County authorities for questioning He is an Al ¬ banian well known in sporting circles The four horses tampered with were Sun Lover and Sun Plume at Belmont Park and Lauerman and Weary Flower at Aqueduct Fees ranging from 100 to 500 are said to have been paid with positive information having been obtained on the above quar ¬ tet of thoroughbreds thoroughbredsMartin Martin Littleton and George Levey are representing Panza
