Two Foals in Texas Possess FourWay Cross to Commando CommandoARLINGTON ARLINGTON Texas May 7 There was a dual celebration at Top o the Hill Stock Farm recently Fred and Mary Brownings Black Servant mare Servant Sue dropped a chunky black filly and im ¬ mediately after Jane Sweep All by Sweep All Jane Logan who is the pride and joy of the Browning clan foaled a colt Nedayr Bud Burmesters young Neddie Sunayr by Sun Briar stallion is the sire of both foals They have Nedayrs markings a small indistinct star but each have an oddlyshaped white strip on the left side of the face inheriting this from the dams damsThe The Brownings have been expecting something out of the ordinary from Jane Sweep All as the mare carries a double Commando cross which added to the double Commando cross in Nedayrs blood ¬ lines gives this chestnut colt the rather unique distinction of having a quadruple Commando cross crossIn In my book and Ive been with thor ¬ oughbreds a long time this is the first in ¬ stance I recall of any horse in recent years with a fourply Commando cross com ¬ mented Jack Jarvis head stud groom and general manager for the Brownings BrowningsJane Jane Sweep All and Servant Sue will be bred back to Nedayr NedayrAnna Anna Fair is the only brood mare at Top o the Hill yet to ofal She will be bred to Nedayr She is in foal to Royal Ford
